The Lake Play Playground is named in honor of Bethel and Lillie Judy in gratitude for their love and dedication to the children of Davenport.

Lillie Judy served as a City Commissioner, as well as the city's first female mayor.

Bethel Judy served Davenport as Chief of Police, as well as a City Commissioner.

Lake Play Park often hosts a variety of wildlife, including cranes, ducks, squirrels, turtles, fish and various birds.
